No. I mean tomorrow for this weekend. Friday for next weekend aka BTH. But if you want some track time for electric this Sunday before BTH please come on out.
I posted it on the other thread day before yesterday. And the answer is yes. I am going to try and be there at about 5:30 with the trailer. As a matter of fact I am getting ready to go and get it now.
Attention nitro racers- it will be a shame of you guys let the nitro races get so low on turnout that we have to combine nitro with electric races. But the way things are going, it's gonna happen. I know that ever since certain things happened we have lost a number of nitro racers, but r/c is and has always been a roller coaster ride with attendance. If you know other nitro racers, call them, ask them why they haven't been racing, ask if there's anything you can do to help or if they need anything. None of us are rich, maybe all they need is some used tires to run or something. Heck, I knew a guy that had to support his nitro car and a few others. I used to give him tires and parts, I even gave them a couple good race motors just to be sure they had what they needed to race.
The club can't afford to lose money on the nitro races, and your hard working nitro track assembly worker can't keep doing everything alone. C'mon guys, don't let it die out. Get on the phone, go hang out in the hobbyshops, tell other customers about the racing. We can't afford bigtiem advertising and nobody is throwing money at us to help with the advertising, so it's up to YOU to make it grow!!!!
We will be setting up the track about 4:30 tomorrow afternoon. I hope that most of you can come and help. Don't forget that we decided at the last race to start racing at NOON on Sunday. This will allow us to have time to get things put away long before dark and we will be able to have time for the micro class to run as many heats and a main also. Kerry has been kind enough to volunteer to come out and run the races for us since myself and Jackie are in the points race with only two races left. Lets try and be well represented for the last two races of the season. Thanks for the help in advance,
Sid
****Please note that the date printed on the results is 10-15-06. I am not sure what happened yet but all the nitro classes were not in the database and a few of the drivers were missing. Thus for example, you will notice Brain listed as burris, Brain rather than Burris, Brain. I my have jacked the date up or just not noticed it while trying to determine what was going on.
It really has no impact since the points will likely be manual at this point due to the integrity of the database. I just wanted to point out that the date is wrong and your name my not appear as it normally does.
*************Points are updated in the points thread.
