Maybe aftermarket might do a licensed body. But for Arrma to would raise price. Have to pay those licensing fees.

as i am buying a notorious, i noticed an interesting technical detail : ball bearing on the pinion in the gearbox

BALL BEARING 8x19x6m AND BALL BEARING 5x11x4mm !! i never seen such a difference in size on a pinion in a gearbox !

the hobao hyper mt uses a 19mm ball bearing + a 16mm one

but i'm happy arrma made a choice to put such a big ballbearing !

I need to try that with my E-Revo 2.0. Did anything break after that jump? I see you have a sand pit to soften the landing.

the 5 flips backflips work really fine , nothing broke. i had some good luck and no big crashes that day. but i often break shock rod ends, i had some bent cvds, popped out steerings knuckles...

so sending that high and tempting tricks and failing does take its toll !

Ok, that is good to hear in a way. I have not jumped that high with my cars because I know I cannot afford to repair them from a bad landing right now. Watching that video made me buy some parts to get my trucks on the road again lol. Keep it up!

in my humble opinion, 1/8th buggy are good RC to learn : they are light and durable, easy to repair, easy to modify/upgrade.
i use a 250 uds kit from hobao ( hyper vse ) that i modified a bit and i could try and discover hard new tricks like the reverse flip cork 540 ( AKA the ballerina spin , on my channel )

Werner whats with the white on the wheels, I have an idea but wanted confirmation. Does your camera mount change the way the truck rotates? I just got my first Arrma Notorious and have to say I love it. I've raced for over 30 years AE, LOSI, Serpent,Tekno, Yoshi ect.. and never thought I would purchase a RTR rig ever, because I like kits and putting them together. Glad I did. I recently installed the NEW Tboneracing XV4 front bumper its perfect front bumper, skid plate and support all in one--awesome I would recommend

look into Tekno springs. The stock springs are ok but after a bit of use the truck really sags. And rear chassis brace. Aluminium is a last resort for me, but after breaking 4 plus bending the chassis, I had no choice.
