Default Kraton differential rebuild vs replace

It seems as though the full diff in case is about $33 with the rebuild kit at $13, would it be worth it to even do a rebuild

Time wise i was thinking cause i will prob take it to the LHS

If the case itself is in good shape save the money and just get the gears. Only reason to get a complete diff is if it’s cracked or wearing.

If you have the cash get a new one, shim it correctly and use the blown one for spares. If you shim it correctly new or rebuilt and service with diff oil when needed it will probably never need your spares.
