Default NEW Losi TEN-MT

Looks like the Traxxas stampede 4x4 has some competition

It looks more like a rustler or hpi bullet than the pede. Maybe I shouldn't compare it to any traxxas vehicle at all since they don't have the quality of Losi has.

I wouldn't call it a MT either, imo it is a truggy. I had one electric converted it is a nice truck about time the electric version came out. I'm not sure but the chassis looks plastic I might be wrong, and I prefer the metal chassis it is more solid.

Lots of plastic... But then, I guess that is how they got the $399 price - pretty low for a TEN RTR truck. SCTE-Troy Lee is $550, and the SCBE is $499. Still, though, if they do the plastic right, it should be good.

Bottom load battery seems like an odd design choice. It kind of screams "NEW BRIGHT"...

Haha +1

This would be a cool truck if it could be converted to a metal chassis vehicle using a scte chassis

I agree. Losi has much better quality than Traxxas. Heck, even a plastic chassis Losi is better

I just wish they would make "monster trucks" look more like … trucks.

Losi has **had** better quality vehicles for years. But now that Horizon Hobby has sunk their teeth in.... It's just a matter of time until we see the "remember how good Losi was...." conversations.

I wish they would call them truggies because that's what they are. I guess that would confuse people outside the hobby though. Call me old fashion but I like truck bodies on my trucks.

No battery included, per the Losi web site. Under features it list " needed to complete". Lipo charger and 2s or 3s battery.

Oh, one that would never be used except for the first run. That would be pulling a Traxxas. Lolllllll

I still see quality in their race-inspired vehicles like the mini t and the mini 8ight and scte But all the newer cheap plastic chassis poor handling models should have never been released under such a high quality brand name. Leave Traxxas who specializes in the plastic chassis poor handling department to release the model, or at least release it under the Ecx, Vaterra etc brands.
