Default Hmmm...

I'm creating a much better one from last nights races...

It will have the entire 2 main races of the Production Monster Truck class. Which is 7 minutes for the B Main and 10 minutes for the A Main(top qualifiers). Then there is the entire Novice B Main race(7 minutes) and then about 7 minutes of the Unlimited Main race(which was 10 minutes long) along with the final qualifier of the Unlimited class(5 minutes). All this is from 11/25/2005.

Somehow or I should say "somewho" was not able to record the Novice A Main from last night. That was my race! My friend who was helping me record didn't realize he was not recording till the last 15 seconds of my race!

So, I think I will put the Novice A Main from 11-15-2005 on there as well.

Plus there will be a meet some of the drivers section and a "Spills and Thrills" section with crashes and other mishaps!

If they turn out pretty good, I'll sell them for 5 bucks + shipping.

Default My backup TQ!

I bought a used Thunder Quake last week for extra parts. I hope it comes in this week. It was $150 with engine, two servos, but no radio. Several extra parts still in the bags and two bodies. I was told it had no more than 10 tanks through it.

I had him send me close up pictures of the spur gears before I bought it and they looked real good. I figured spending $150 for all the replacement parts is more cost efficient than than spending almost $30 here and there for each replacement part I might need. After just a few parts, I'd have much more than $150 into it. And this way, I have them with me already and don't have to wait for shipping. And I even have an extra engine.

I thought about upgrading my engine, but now that I've been racing a little bit, I don't think I need it yet. More power would just get me into trouble on the track, and probably cause more maintenance issues. I think after I my driving skills improve a lot, then I could get a better engine.

I don't have any new videos up. But I do have the new DVD almost done.

Check this out...

Also, if you have an AM radio, then you should be able to buy the XMOD crystal set from Radio shack for $15 and have more than enough crystals.

I use these in my Transmitter and Receiver that came with my TQ, they work great!

I have the stock Remote and Futaba reciever too and the XMOD crystals work great. I read about it on the CRCRC forums. I've been racing with them for the past 3 weeks. No problems.

About the shipping on a DVD. I don't see how it could be more than 2 bucks?? But I'll check.

Default XMod

Yeah the Warhead looks nice from what I've read about it.

About the XMods and the 75MHz... I don't think it would work. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure they are on the 27MHz range. You may have to break down and buy the real ones. But I'm no expert, that's for sure. I'm still pretty new.

Are you still interested in a DVD? If so, I've got them done and can send one two you. You'd just have to put $7.00 in my PayPal account and give me your address.
