Hardly earth-shattering, but today I got it on pavement to make sure it was shifting properly. The gearing is non-XXL, so shorter.. Need to get an XXL tranny for more speed. It has more than enough grunt.. I've never had to be so careful with the throttle with my LST2's...

Will an older style nitro engine mount do the trick?

Is the XXL-2 mount really different from the original?

Yes, it sits the motor further back to make room for huge flywheel/longer crank. Just wondering if the mounting location on the chassis is the same. Don't have an xxl2 chassis handy
