Default Completed Savage XL conversion w/pics

Hey guys
I wanted to show you guys some pics of the completed product

HPI Savage Xl
TCS crawlers 5mm chassis
ALza CD Kit
1/8 Vorza diff with 48T spur
Teckno Mod 1 13t pinion
HPI battery boxes
NEU 1515 Castle Motor with XL2 ESC
PRO LINE Mashers

Batteries used are Turnigy Nano-Tech 2s 5600mah with 50-100c discharge
I have ran the truck 3 times runs great a lot of fun to drive deff need to upgrade sterring servo soon haha and need to install wheelie bar asap

ALSO I HAVE THE 5.9 ENGINE AND 3 SPEED TRANSMISSION THAT I WILL GIVE AWAY NEEDS TO BE SOMEONE ON LONG ISLAND AS I WILL PAY FOR SHPPING CONTACT ME IF INTRESTED TRUCK HAD 1 GALLON OF USE AS A NITRO

Nice conversion. Giving away the nitro engine and trans? That makes it kinda tempting to get back into nitro but I'd rather someone who could really use it get them.

Btw your pics show a MMM or MMM2 (can't tell which with it under the Traxxas mount) not a XL2 esc.

Looks good. Better than what i did lol..... I need to mount my esc like u did. But mine is short wheelbase so it didnt fit behind the motor. Great job!!!

thanks guys
for the esc I bought the NEU 1515 motor combo I forget which one it is.
haha I being chicken and not running on 6s yet im not ready to break stuff just yet once I upgrade some more stuff ill push it to 6s tell you what on 4s and the way its geared this truck rips a lot of fun to drive

i know that feeling, lol

I think the masher will balloon like crazy on 6s , so it might not be the best idea anyway !

check my mashers with a too soft center diff :

here they are air tight ( I closed the holes in the rims) and balloon like a disc, on 3s only...

LMAO looks like you were having some fun there...so what did you do to help with that add some heavier oil in your center diff??
My truck does the same exact thing front tires are always ballooning pretty bad and its on 4s

I just have the 1/8 Vorza center diff didn't touch the oil inside I believe it comes with 100k

yes, heavier oïl in the center diff, like 200k. the truck will wheelie even more, but at least the center won't make the front tires turns 3 times faster than the rear tires.
I run with harder tires now, those don't balloon and drift nicely !
