Hi all. I have recently converted my revo to big block. I have the LRP ZR .32 on a new era mount.

The thing i want to know is what roll bar should i get to protect the engine? Kind of struggling to find one.

The only problem with the New Era kit is the fact it raises the engine up a little. Combined with the taller engine and the top of the engine is very close to the top of the stock rollbar. I doubt any aftermarket bars are going to be much different. For my truck I actually raised the body a notch and glued pieces of plastic to the top of the stock rollbar to support the body in it's new position. You could also space the stock rollbar up higher and use longer screws. Flipping the truck over on the bench showed the heatsink on my Novarossi would still hit which I couldn't allow. To prevent that I'd have to raise the body way too much so I decided to add a wing. Combined with the slightly raised body supported by the now slightly taller rollbar the heatsink was now safe if and when it rolled over.

OK thanks mate. Already have a rear wing so I will look at making the stock one a touch taller.
