Default Tamiya King Cab

I just dug up my old King Cab that I bought back in 1990 or so. It still works well but needs a new body. Anyone know where I can get one??? Doesn't have to be original just would like it to fit not to badly.

I aloso would like new tires. Anyone know where I could get some?

Tom

Tires should be standard 2.2" tires. Pretty much any Pro-Line or Losi truck tires will work. You can also make any body fit, You just have to worry about what it's going to look like when your done.

What kind of shape is the body in? I might be able to help you out if it's a hard body. Go to www.TeamPlatinumRacing.com/CustomBodies.html

It's a thin polycarbonate body that is really cracked up. I live in an out of the way place with respect to RC shops. I was hoping someone might know what current body might fit.

Also, should I relube the gears? or will the lube I put in there in 1990 still be OK?

When in doubt, you should always relube the gears. You don't have to stick with the Tamiya stuff, but it's pretty cheap.

I think I confused some people. It's a Nissan King Cab.

I have the Toyota HI Lux version. Same thing only different body. Still Have everthing, but the trans failed and parts are no longer avail to fix it. My body is not pretty other wise I would offer it to you.
