Well I bought waterproof ESC servos and sealed Rx box so I hope to accomplish the creek crossing without thinking about it. Along with stainless steel screws, just missing some good bearings but I believe its waterproof enough.....I hope lol

Just blast your bearings with WD-40 when you're done, and you'll be good to go.

WD = Water Displacement!

Cool, what brand esc and servos did you get?

I bought the mmm2 and just purchased the savox waterproof servos last night, 0231 seem like they will do the job @ 416oz . I also bought another receiver box to seal the cc bec I'm buying this weekend to power those servos

I haven't looked at the specs but I figured you wouldn't need a Bec with the mmm2. I thought bec's were for older model speed controls.

It has an adjustable internal bec but I have seen on forums and been told by lhs that an external would be better for the servos, plus it is putting less strain on the ESC now

I have a brushless E-maxx and it's fun to drive it in the snow and thru creeks. I have had it fully submerged in water. The electronics never have an issue.

I would suggest if you go this route than do more maintenance on the truck. The bearings in the hubs will rust quickly and not last long. I take them out and clean then relube them and they will last a lot longer.
