Default turnigy reciver controlled off/on switch

hi people l got one of these switch thingys l have run them on a single battery and two batterys to run 2 batterys all you do is run a negtive wire from one battery to the other l was useing it the other nite it seems to get very hot l was wondering if any had this problem thanks in advance for any help

We really need more detailed information to know what the problem is. The model of switch, maybe a link to it and what is being run off the switch. A quick google yielded multiple "Turnigy Rx controlled switches" but all seem to be 10amp or less. My best guess for them getting hot is you're exceeding the amp rating.
