Bit of an update.
I programmed my ESC punch before I just went for a run and I realized my LVC was set to 3.0v! I set it to 3.4v and the truck ran for only about 20mins, half of which I had my TH ATV set at it's lowest! I thought the battery had gone bad but all cells were 3.7v at the end. Now I know why I was getting 30+ mins where everyone else on the forums always gets 20mins or less!
That runtime was pathetic, the low ATV was just because I was walking to the bash spot, by the time I got there one jump and the battery died. I think I need a 5000mah 5S or 6S.

They don't have the best traction because the compound is a bit on the hard side that's fun for sliding around. They don't balloon at all and the smaller diameter makes them fun to drive and handle awesome.

Saw a V8 driving up my road today and raced it, tied. Waiting for it to come back down and he saw me waiting and went absolutely flat out (about 100 metres) and I won He had all his mates in the car too and he lost to a toy car, bet he was mad

Just a bit of an update.
Broke one of the Tamiya rear rod ends from a huge jump landing upside down on one rear wheel a month or two ago. Had spares and was fixed when I got home.
A couple of weeks ago I broke my antenna because I pulled too hard trying to get my super glued antenna tube out of the chassis. I found the only place to get it with the right connection on it was hobbyking in Singapore. They came today and work well (15cm)
I bought an ST-1 roller but I decided as soon as I received it I wanted to try 5S. I sold the ST-1 roller to SPARKY
With the money from the ST-1 I bought an iCharger 106B+ and a Zippy 5800mah 5S 30C. I tried using a PC PS for the charger but that didn't work out. So I converted a 575w HP server power supply for charging and it works great. I used this great tutorial to convert the PS. http://www.ultimaterc.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=174225
It involves shorting certain pins to run, servo connectors work great as you can see.
The charger is great, having 250W to play with as well as a screen showing tonnes of info is amazing compared to the 50W 4S max charger I used to have.
It charged my 5800mah 5S at 1C in around 45mins!
I ditched the top tray and am running velcro now. The speed of 5S is insane! With 14t on stock wheels with the Leopard 2000kv 4282 it is doing roughly 85kph. I will put a GPS on it later.
As for runtime, my old 20C 5000mah 4S I was getting around 10-15mins this 5S I am getting around 35-40mins!
Motor temp was a cool 160*F, ESC 110*F and lipo was 130*F. Ambient temps were very hot and humid at 30*F.
I am running an LVC alarm instead of ESC LVC so I don't have to reprogram the ESC and set it for 4S and then 5S when I swap over. Cells ended up at 3.6v per cell. Alarm was set to 3.5v/cell. And for future reference IR is 4, 4, 4, 2, 4 (cell 1,2,3,4,5) total, 18 m/ohm.
I will post a 5S running video over the weekend.

I am trying to bring my battery temps down (from the 130*F I got on my first full 5S pack) and have changed the timing from the out of the factory 11.25 deg to 0 degrees.
I will report back on whether this brings temps down enough or not.
And I have dremeled slots in the plastic chassis tub for the Team Associated RC8e straps.
