I love to watch monster truck races!!!

The top 4 are probably the e revo, savage flux hp, mt4, and the pede 4x4, now.
I wouldn't include the lst because its discontinued and parts are already getting harder to find

Another one bites the dust
Although my Revo looks rather good on the shelf.

Mistake,, man. I haven't owned all those trucks but I have had both savages and revos, and I can tell you the Savage is FAR better in every aspect besides handling.
Easier to work on, more durable, and cooler looking

I actually did face that same decision about a year ago, and I went with the Revo. Now that I have a Savage as well I understand what a colossal mistake it was to get the Revo...

MT4 G3 - cheaper than all of the above. AND faster, better handling, and as tough as the Savage, tougher than the plastic Revo..

Go savage man, or the mt4. I've heard that's good too

If you were into racing before I wonder why you want to go towards a traxxcrap?

I've had a nitro Savage and Revo's in nitro and electric. Savages and their TVP's are not my thing and I loved my nitro Revo, but I hated the E-Revo. I had good luck with it durability wise but could never get it to handle like the nitro version. I'd actually go with the Savage instead and the MT4 G3 if handling is a primary concern.
If your set on the E-Revo stick with 4s and make sure the slipper is set properly. I'd also remove the diffs (at least the rear) and shim them properly (spiders too) with real shims instead of those crappy Teflon washers Traxxas uses. Doing these and learning to roll on the throttle instead of just punching it all the time will really help the durability.
