I use to own a losi 8t truggy with MT wheels and for bashing it wasn't ideal as the ground clearance wasn't sufficient..my muggy, whilst handles like a truggy, has the clearance of a MT, with higher COG and has the tried and tested LST2 suspension setup..I can do large jumps and land on all 4 without bottoming out and be able to handle the rough terrain where I bash and still handle like its on rails..
Don't get me wrong, I love the xxl, but it is morbidly obese, which is hard on the drivetrain, suspension and doesn't handle corners really well due to weight transfer

So this other guy is saying there's an ad somewhere proving that the Savage XL Octane is coming out.. (The timing would almost make sense, with the Nürnberg toy fair coming up in Feb...)

Maybe Losi is being really sly and is planning to get in on that game and re-release the LST in three versions - nitro, electric, and gas!...

Ha ha.. I still can't believe they're not going to rerelease it in some form though..
