Default Centralemaxx RC "Ph@ntom" Maxx Racer!

After a few months in development Centralemaxx RC and its head engineer Gregory Jeanne has come out with a new racing chassis specifically designed to fit the Front and Rear ends of our beloved Maxx trucks. This is designed around the "EMaxx" and will be a electric competition truck to take on your local Truggy class at your track. I am happy to introduce my racing Ph@ntom!

I have been chosen as a test pilot for this new truck. I will be building one with all the goodies of a full blown Maxx Racer! This will be using a host of quality parts from Centralemaxx RC, Unlimited Engineering, Pro Line, Great Assembly, Tekin, Serpent, Mugen, STRC, AE to name a few. LiPo's have not been ordered yet as I want to try something new so I have been searching for a great newer pack to try out.

This is the brain child after years of enjoying the Maxx platform but always striving for more performance. Centralemaxx RC figured it was time to build their own platform! With superior knowledge in CAD development Gregory was able to design a superior racing chassis. We are confident it is going to win races!!

I present to you the "Ph@ntom"!

Parts being used for this build :
Centralemaxx RC Ph@ntom chassis w/ custom Gen IV steering rack attachment.
Centralemaxx 14mm to 17mm wheel adapters
UE Gen IV servo saver
UE Racer X suspension kit w/ set back rear arms and front single shock hi impacts
UE Ultralight diff cases with Spider 8 gears
UE Monster Pirate 17mm Wedge wheels
UE Knucklehead Shock towers
UE SuperShocks w/ 6mm Standoffs
UE Ti pillow balls
UE Ti Racer X tie rods
UE 8mm Steel CVD's
Lunsford Ti tie rods for steering drag link
Die Maker Dave MBX5T wing stay mount
Great Assembly 7075 Bulkheads
SweetStrobe Bulkhead braces
Strobe suspension limiters
C.P.M. Ti skids
Full Force CF Radio plate
Tekin RX8 w/ 1700kv T8 motor
Hitec steering servo

I will have a body for show and tell and one for the track, same thing with wheel and tire set ups. I will be trying some different configurations at different tracks. This will be sent off for Anodizing tomorrow. So I will be updating the thread as progress continues on the build. We are going with a super cool theme for this truck! Pictures coming when it returns home!

Parts are used from existing kits on the market so the build is constructed with everything on the market today. I am using Unlimited Engineering parts which are not available at this time but you can use any Front and Rear Maxx bulkhead set up for a truly competitive platform. All parts made by Centralemaxx RC are machined from 7075 aluminum for great strength!

Parts that come with the chassis kit and needed parts are on the list below :

Here is Gregory's completed testing truck :

Here are some close up shots of the parts :

Track body and first set of wheels and tires to test.

Darkside Designs is my exclusive painter now for all of my racing trucks. Here is a shot of my B4.1 and SC10 bodies for the same race day.

Putting power to the ground will be a Tekin system.

Custom GEN IV piece for correct steering geometry to the servo placement.

Keep following this thread for updates on one of the most exciting upgrade kits for our beloved Maxx platform! I am very excited and honored to be chosen as a tester for this new race chassis.

Wonder how this compares to UEs rig? Close in performance I'm sure.

I am Brokenparts but I lost my login info and email switching devices. Love the suspension! I am debating on trading the powerstrokes for a good 1/8 shock... Can't decide what to do.
