Questions?? Am i screwed ?

I cant post pictures because it wont let me but the first fin under were the cooling head goes snapped off perfectly but if i were to put the head back without broken piece there is a leek so im not sure if jb weld would do.Pm i will link to photo bucket if u need to see.

Not 100% screwed yet.

It's a vibration from a bad rear bearing, it cracks head fins off at certain RPM's.. In a way, this is the only good thing about traxxas garbage aluminum. If it was good aluminum you might not have known till you were truly screwed and it grenade on ya.

If there is a leak, sounds like its time for a new engine.

You see that head fin (2) cracked off in the middle of the engine? Good, so do I.

There will be no retraction of my question. You have about 5-7 mm of solid aluminum on the head above the button (OR as thick as the glow plug threads) before they become independent fins.

Unless he cracked the head all the way through to the head button there is no "leak" he must be mistaken or it's a totally different problem.
