Default E-Revo and TQi

So I just recently bought an E-Revo and just threw in a TQi receiver in it. The problem I am having is it will not turn and throttle isn't working. I tried everything I could think of. Any help would be awesome.

You're using the tqi radio also right? I don't think The old style radios will work ith the new tqi recievers.
Also you have to link them together if you just replaced the reciever

Re-bind the receiver and the radio.

Then check to see that: the servo plugs are plugged in the correct way, the receiver battery is charged fully, the ON/OFF switch is turned ON and functioning properly.
