Heres a video link. I have to appologize for the bit of shaking, hard to record and control at the same time. And for some weird reason it came out upside down.

I was trying to watch the video, but being upside down hurt my head too much. The motor does not sound right. Also, is the esc fan running after that little bit of throttle? My fan doesn't come on for very long and I'm running 6s in a much heavier truck. Post a video of top speed with the camera right side up.

I don't know for sure but it almost looks under geared. The only other thing I can suggest is to use an older version of firmware. 3.6 or something. If that doesn't work, send the video to castle, I am sure they have more knowledge on the subject. Good luck. It will haul butt when you get it straightened out.

I agree, it did look under geared. On my embe I was running 21/65 I do believe.

Camera was setup right, it flipped when I uploaded to youtube. That was top speed... I think i have it figured out now one of my buddies told me to swtich two motor connectors and now I can't keep the wheels on the ground on 4s.

What gearing would you suggest? Theres a 65t spur and I have a 28t and 17t pinion. Right now I've got 28/65 and shes flipping everywhere. I must say its pretty cool how much power the rig has but Id like to be able to gear it to somewhat control it.

Also I noticed that when going forward and I apply brake its ike a cracking noise. Is that normal for this ?

a cracking noise? usually when braking or driving in reverse and hearing a clicking noise that means the diff gears are slipping.

it would have been alot of help if you told us the truck went backwards when you were pulling back on the throttle...

There is no gearing that will help keep the wheels on the ground, you need to learn how to operate the throttle or adjust the power output with the castle link.

Just had her out again. Still getting use to the throttle but its better. I still hear a weird cracking noise when going forward and applying the brake though.
I'll try and get a video for you guys to hear it.

This. Make sure you have a good constant battery or there won't be that "punch" that you see in a lot of videos.

Its either your diffs or your spur. Post a picture of your spur gear.

Spur gear is fine. Its not torn up at all. When I take the truck off the ground it eliminates this cracking/squeeling noise.
