Really? I can see this turning into another "what's better" thread. Why don't you figure out what makes the most sense for you in your situation?

I've never owned one of the lst xxl, but I have 2 of the Savage's and they are a beast. I Love the Savage in every way. The downside to your savage is it will need an engine rebuild. So that could play a big part in your decision seeing your selling to fund your racing career. Hope it works out for you, and what little bit of opinion that was helps.

Your not going to be a new owner for either... You of all people should know the "pro's and con's" already, you own both. You already know what needs money and what does not. You probably have a liking for one over the other already, you need to make the decision not 1000 different "opinions" is all I'm saying.

I actually don't know the pros and cons, I haven't had a chance to run either do to all the snow on the ground.

Keep the savage if you can afford the engine rebuild or replacement. It's hard to go wrong with a savage.

I have a Losi 427 you can put in the savage.
Almost done with the brushless swap on my LST XXL. Can't wait to run it.

Sell the Savage. The XXL is a more complete package.

I currently own 1 savage XL and 2 LST2's. The savage XL is a better basher but the xxl handles much better, and is almost as durable as the xl, but I say that its easier to wrench on the xxl. But be warned the XXL is an old platform and alot of aftermarket support is disapearing.

I would keep the losi

+1, keep the one you like the most of the 2. If no issue on funding, keep both
