Thanks! Its my favorite truck ive ever owned. Ya i know integy is not the greatest but they were the only ones that had red as i could find or some random ones on ebay that i really dont like the look of. Are you running rpm skids over your aluminum skids?

The mailman also brought me my skids and driveshaft extenders. I ordered some more suff like pivot balls etc to have the back done by end of the week! I feel like im missing something though

part #5153r. Everyone says you need these if you get them for the maxx because they are too short.

Yea, I'm running the rpm skids over the aluminium. What the heck are those extenders. I don't have those. Nor have I ever heard of them.
The red skids look great buddy/!

the screw should go through the drive cup and the axle.

Rumor has it that the traxxas cvds will keep falling off on the maxx becasue they are too short, and that you need to buy these. Could you post a pic of your skid plate setup? I'm curious to see it! And thanks, the red looks sick on the silver.

And thanks brokenparts, ill test it out later.

I think I remember hearing similar about the Traxxas CVD's and needing extended cups to stop the stupid falling-out.

Nice skidplates. I've got the same in blue for the rear of my Maxx and titanium in the front, but it's mostly covered up by a T-Bone Racing Skid/Wheelie-Bar. Be careful, the aluminum won't put up with a 14+lb truck banging on a wheelie bar attached to it for very long. Mine didn't, that's why I've got the TBR Wheelie-Bar/Skidplate now.

But you have to pull it out with your hands so i think it will work by just sitting in the carrier. I will try and not to rip the front ones. Thanks

I got my transmission and wheelie bar in the mail today.
Stilll waiting on my rcplanet order to get the back finished. Its taking usps an awfull long time to travel the package two hours. I ordered it on sunday, and its not here! I guess we'll see.....

Alright. I finally got everything to finish the rear.
THEN I CROSS-THREADED THE RPM TRUE TRACK AXLE CARRIERS!!
I managed to get one in cross-threaded. I will eventually buy another one, but im just trying to get this thing finished. Does anyone have any ideas how to get the 2nd one in just to make it last?

Got the back done and transmission put on!

Depending on the size of this paycheck this weekend, it will depend on what i order. But im thinking center cvds and 17mm hubs and maybe a reciever box.
Also, these springs are garbage! I think im going to get the progressive ones and put some spacers in.
