Yeah old 27 mghz radio. Maxx stock sized swamp dogs not big ones. Geared it 18/72 it doesn't need to be superfast lol. The thing seems to run forever. Maybe I'm just used to a savage with a 28.

Thanks for the tip. I got it all pulled apart now so I'm actually gonna pick up a couple of things at the shop on Friday. My Venom 6V 4200 mAh Hump pack came in so I'll grab some bearings and the 49T HD spur gear. Might have to pick up the Axial Beadlocks I've been eyeing up if the budget permits.

After breaking both the One-Way Bearing and the gear it's set in, I am debating on going with a pull star which I've seen a fair few people suggest.

You talking the losi lst shocks? I was thinking of doing that upgrade at some point. In the meantime I just refilled the stock shocks on my Savage X 4.6 Gave them a bit more firmness and they actually bounce back now.

Only got to run 2 tanks through the savage with the axial 28 today. Ran perfect nice long wheelies. Kids tmaxx smoked another z650 servo. While we were trying to see which one jumped better with a 2 foot kicker jump. Any guesses ?

Started retuning my ercm xl since removing the 24mm baja wheels & going back to the 17mm's. Ran 2 tanks thru her in my back yard. Next is to start on shift points when I can find some time to get out to one of my usual spots since my neighbors like to call the cops on me when Im in front of my house. Also relubed the rotating assembly in the motor with some zmax tonight letting it soak in. Havent found much time to play lately with temps around & over 100f tho.

I gotta run in a LARGE space to test gearing! Shift points? I hope your truck is painted a bright, easy to see color 'cause it will be way far away when you hear 3rd gear kick in.
Z maxx? Synthetic lube will work and it's available by the QUART.1 Qt. Royal Purple will last me 3-5 years.
Try chasing your truck in a car for a top speed run.At night. It's cooler, then. About a 1/4 turn on the carb on the high speed jet will make it sing happier.Cooler is better.

Aaargghh! So I got home after picking up some parts today, all ready to sit and work on my Savage, but it turns out the roto-start gear set I picked up was the wrong one! SO she sat on the desk last night staring at me. I also picked up a 49T spur gear, the only one in the city as I had to hit a couple places looking for it.

And I bought a XXX-SCT.

So popped into the shop at 9am AMD swapped for the right rotostart gear I needed. Also nabbed a Lipo for the XXX-SCT. Got home and reassembled the engine putting on the 18T clutch bell. Didn't have time to work on the spur gear but did get the Roto start reassembled. Probably do the spur gear this evening and see if I can get my Savage up and running again.

Went to the beach the other day
Now my High-Low shift servo in the E-Maxx is fried

Found a spare 2018 servo for now but I'll get a new waterproof servo soon
