Trx motors work the same as any other motor. It is stupid to believe that a fuel that doesn't work in anything else would somehow work diffrent in those motors. End of the day run what you want. It is a simple fact that the quality of the lub in it and the level of it just is not ideal for nitro motors. And the quality control one gallon to the next just isn't consistent.

I challenge everyone running trx fuel to pick up a gallon of Byron's and see for yourself. Now if you can't tune a motor it won't much matter but if you can once you go Byron's you will never run anything else.

which type of byron fuel are you using? I've never used anything but 20% traxxas fuel.
Thanks

Would adding a couple ounces of Klotz Benol to the O'Donnells 30% Speed blend be adequate?
I'm a longtime Byrons fan, but I can only get OD Speed Blend now, but I also have Klotz...

Lol don't use Crapxxas fuel, EVERY engine that's been given to me that had Crapxxas in it was a pile of corroded nasty sludgy junk.
Wild Cat I believe is made by Morgans, same as Sidewinder, heard that's good stuff.
I'd only use Crapxxas fuel to clean air filters, but they might get clogged too.
BTW- every fuel tank I got that had Crapxxas was a clogged mess of nastyness also.

I think i am going to stick with eliminator because i notice i haven't had to change my glow plug yet and i had this one in for a few months now. I also use After run oil so my engine should be looking good inside.

That tells me that werks is somewhere around 10% Whatever the case may be, both fuels we were talking about have ample amounts of caster/synthetic mix, just a matter of tune. Guys run all sorts of different race engines where I go, (moded, stock) and I'd say 90% of the fuel used out there is OD's speed. No one has problems with engines not getting enough lube or seal problems because of Speed blend fuel.

that is not accurate at all..

Werks is not 10%.....its probably similar % wise to Speed Blend

Werks uses a very different lubricant, that is also very good, so it does not need to have its oil content raised.........

The lubricants used in OD Speed blend and Werks are night and day different...OD is very dry with no residulal lubrication...Werks is very wet, with huge amounts of residual lubrication..OD lubricant all burns off, Werks does not

The only advanatge OD has over Werks is its easier to find , Werks is the better product of the two......

here is what the inside of a engine running Werks looks like... this fuel has almost zero smoke when it runs, the oil does not burn off like other fuels, instead the oil sticks around and lubricates and seals the engine... Thiese pics are days after running the engine, the oil is thick and sticky like airfilter oil............
