Default Tmaxx Slipping Clutch

Hey for some reason i notice that my clutch would sometimes slip. I have tighten my spur gear all the way then back off 1/8 of a turn and it still slips. I am wondering why is it doing this. I got friction pegs in all 12 holes. I also had changed my motor to a 3.3 it was oringal the 2.5 but i did that awhile back and never had any problems. I am trying to figure out why is it slipping.

I also notice when i pull the string to start it. It feels like it is slipping and not turning the engine sometimes.

its probably your one way bearing in the pull start. try taking it out and cleaning it. are the friction pegs wore down?

The friction pegs are flat on the spur gear now. They could be worn down because i havent changed them in a few months now. My clutch should be good because i just recently changed the clutch out..

And the one way bearing that is only effecting the pull-start correct? That is not effecting the slipping i am getting from the clutch? And what whats the best way to clean the one-way bearing

yea the one way bearing will only effect the pull start. The best way to clean it out is to take it apart and spray it down with some kind of degreaser and lightly oil it with some bearing oil. just make sure when you put it back in the text writing on the one side is facing the engine.

Alright will do, how about the clutch slipping? Could that be because my friction pegs are flat? How fast do friction pegs wear out
