Yeah, now that you say that, I remember seeing a stock broken and it just kind of shattered... Which hinge pins need to be replaced/break? Thanks

Inners are 4mm, outers are 3mm. I just bought stainless rod stock from McMaster Carr and cut up a bunch of spares; a very cheap fix.

I have absoulty abused the hell out of my MT4-G3. I ordered all the standard spare parts. And i have use 0

I did mess up the rear body post, which i ordered front ones and attached it to the shock tower, just like the front is (just get some hardware, i think (4) m3x12mm +m3 nylon nuts. I broke the on/off switch, but i think it was messed up from the start. always would randomly shut off, and i would have to mess with the switch and one day the plastic tab just broke, 6 bucks later no more issues.

I have sent it full speed of 6 foot 1/8th pipe (at skate park) into the air a good 75-100 feet and have had 0 issues.

I took it to a local OHV park, with 15ft+ jumps and completely landed wrong so many times with no issues (this is where i sheared off the body post)

the thing is an absolute beast..

Guys can someone help me I have a 1717 in my mt4 gearing was 19 \ 44
wanted to go down to 17 \ 44 but motor started touching the dogbone..
Took it to shop asked them to gear down a bit as I want a touch more torque (backflips) and a touch less top speed, but he went over kill and put in 11/55 which is unusable cant even half trigger.. He said he cant find any other size options for the car..
Can someone please tell me where I can get a spur gear 50teeth or below (but higher then 44 ) for my mt4...

MT4 diffs, internally, are the same as the old Associated RC8, SC8, and RC8T diffs. I believe the RC8 and SC8 had 46t spur gears, the RC8T 50, with a 48 option I think. There were other options from AE as well I believe. There are definitely 46t and 48t spur gears available, in both plastic and metal.

I just listed this lot of used parts on eBay
There is a steel spur in great shape on the center diff.
Starting bid for the whole lot is about what it would cost for a steel spur alone.
