Default air filter ?????

im running the big motor saver air filter on my 3.3 t maxx. i was wondering if running it at an angle would help allowing the air to get in better. the first picture is how i run it now. and the second is what im asking if it would be better to run that way so while the truck is moving the air would go right in the filter. because if you look at the first picture the front of the air filter is plastic. any input is appreciated! thanks!

I seriously doubt you will be reaching speeds where ram air would have an effect, even then you would need ducting. It does not matter.

*keeping it clean and not over oiled will do wonders.

yea true. the highest im going is probably around 40. i run with just a roll cage and no body so plenty of air gets in. yea the motor saver air filter is great! it has a screen on the outer case then 2 filters inside. it stays really clean! i use hpi filter spray oil and fluidz filter spray oil.
