Default Kyosho Twin Force

Well...

Here is another addition to my Monster Truck Collection. This is... I think....my 4th monster truck. I never owned a Twin Force, but this made an appearance at our last Clod Race and I needed to get one. Five other racers jumped in the shipping and we now may have our own class...

Any ways, this thing is fast, but it lacks the low end. Does anyone know the smallest pinion this thing can handle and what pitch is it??

Okay, here are some pics with my mod clod body on it, planning on a Novak Brushless. Right now only have a Super Rooster, D5 10x1 motors and high torque servo.

Race on....

Cool truck

How does it handle compared to a Clod?

Way better than a Clod. I raced clods for 3 years now and won last years championships. The Twin Force is just so fun to play with. In my opinion, way more durable for jumping, speed runs and don't worry about stripping the trans...this bad boy comes with a slipper clutch...

I love it, just ordered my HV Novak Brushless today..should come in early next week. I'll install it and take some pics..

Sounds sweet..

I`m in the process of finishing a Clodzilla IV, but I`m not sure if I want to keep it as a basher, or possibly get a TwinForce

That is exactly why I bought this Twin Force, to use it as a basher. I can't do that with the clod becuase of the plastic gear boxes could slam against the ground and crack, could crack the post on the gearbox, and my run time is short on it. I just keep the Mod Clod for races (drag race style) and the twin force is my basher. With the Clod I use match packs, with this, I only use the sport packs and with the brushless coming in real soon....this is going to be one heck of a back yard basher...
