iirc, you'll need a new motor plate. Traxxas part 5690x. Hot Racing makes a pretty nice one with heat sinks on it.

Optional, but recommended, upgrade the 14mm hubs to 17mm hubs.

If you're gonna be bashing with it, I highly recommend playing around with the Castle Link programming. (Comes with the Motor/ESC Combo) Dial back the punch control to the recommended bash settings. Reduces strain on the driveline, without sacrificing power.

What are the recommended bash settings?

I don't remember off the top of my head.

But when you run the Castle Link program, it gives you suggested settings for each field in the tabs.

The only one I set up was punch control, and I can only assume it has helped quite a bit. I've yet to break any driveline components, and I'm thrashing it pretty hard on 4s.

It hasn't reduced the power at all.
