Default revo eating glow plugs

My friend has a revo 3.3 running 33% nitro. Every 3-4 tanks his glow plug is going. He us using the standard traxxas plug. He has his hsn 4 and 1/4 turns out. The engine runs around 210 - 230 max. Should he lean it out some? There is a lot of smoke at low speeds and quite a bit for high speed.

First off let your friend know that crapsucks 33% fuel is horrible! Worst thing you could put in a tank! You could run 1.1 car gas and it would run better

Second, the higher the nitro% the leaner the tune. 4-1/2 out is richer then a stock break-in tune.
