Jeez calm down boy, he wasn't implying anything except for were glad we don't live in a city where you have to go downtown and pay for parking to get a quart of nitro fuel. You must be angry....but I can see why.

If its not a ringed engine ill be pretty disappointed. needle bearing big end would be nice too, but i doubt that
I see their is alot of 8cc heli engines out there, guessing the platform is based off those

I think if they get this thing close to a .28 that is a great start & hopefully aftermarket companies work with the system to offer better engines in the future, its got to start somewhere.

In my experience this new engine will be a lot slower to get up and go than the nitro engines. I will personally guarantee this. The rpm range on this engine 10,000 to 15,000 less rpm than a nitro in .28 to .30 sizes. More torque and horse power for sure but that is it. I've had the small airplane 2-strokes in my cars and the 4-strokes as well. The nitros are still faster rpm wise but the new hpi engine will have more power and torque but way less speed.

I dont doubt it wont be a picco or anything, but I think it has potential. I too have experience with nitro 4stroke engines and cars, or buggy rather, and wasn't really disappointed. wasn't insanely powerful but would easily keep up with a 2 stroke half its size

I agree with you also. This is a great start....What I really would like to know is....Will other manufacture's jump on board and begin to release petrol engines like these?
