Will the FLM wide arms work with a xl chassis?

I'm not sure, I would send fastlane a email.
I think they might but you better check with them first. The truck is very stable with the cen wheels so I wasn't interested.

How has the flm motor mount held up? I just ordered one for my latest x brushless conversion.

No problems, I ran a 2200kv tork on 6s many times with the huge wheels and tires and huge crashes and 30+mph rolling complete back flips and the motor mount was never a problem, front center diff cups are another story! Still working on the perfect solution for that. Put a dab of blue loc-tight on all the screw and you will be good to go.

Cool deal. Glad to know the mount won't be a weak point. I also ordered a flm servo tray and motor plate. I love the flm stuff. I thought about going the kershaw designs direct drive route but decided against it. How do you like the tranny forward setup? I might order those tvps for my other savage soon. Just trying to read up on them first to see if they truly have advantages or not.
