Default which axle carriers?

im going to upgrade the front & rear axle carriers on my t-maxx 3.3. i was getting the rpm for the f & r, but i heard the balls on the arms pop out kinda easy because how rpm material flexes. so should i go with aluminum axle carriers, or stick with the rpm?

If the RPM material flexes, then unscrew the ball and put it back together.

I've never heard of or personally seen that happen on rpm carriers, I have them on my t-maxx and will soon have them on my embe, it those included larger size bearings that suck.

i think i'll give the rpm ones a shot. i hope the pivot balls that screw into the arms dont pop out of the carriers.

Aluminum down the center and on the corners is the strongest "set up" for a T-maxx IMO.

I use aluminum bulkheads with rpm stuff. I have stock carriers up front because they break before anything else. I can get 4 new ones for about 5-10 bucks on ebay.

At least you started from the center, that's the way to go on a maxx, most guys buy arms first and break stock bulks later.

yup, your right. my front bulk actually did crack. plus i only want to tear the front and rear apart once. if i put the arms on, then the bulks later, i would have to take apart all that stuff again. but im sure i will anyway for something else.

ohhh, a quick question since were on the axle carrier subject. is there a easier way to get the axle carriers to snap on over the a-arms ball studs other than me using a hammer to hit them with?? because i cracked 2 of the stock axle carriers doing that.
