Default Kyosho Mad Force Kruiser

Hi,

So after hours of research I decided to jump on the Kyosho Mad Force Kruiser.
I really wish it was a KIT but its RTR which is FAIL..haha

Anyways I think the Kyosho radio is a POS and was wondering which radio you would recommend? I was looking at the 2.4ghz from Futaba an KO but wanted to know which one is better or recommended.

I already know which servos I am getting, so I need help on deciding which radio suits me best. I will not be doing any racing..just fun in the backyard stuff so I don't want to spend too much.

Thanks!

Worth considering perhaps a Futaba 2PL or 3PM, both are 2.4Ghz they are good radios and not that expensive.

Futaba and KO are excellent radio. I personally like the KO but if you were talking about the 4PK then yes, stick with futaba. As far as servos go, I will always stay with JR. They are the best in the business.

I like the spectrum DX3s mainly for its telemetry. Its nice to look down at your radio and see your engine temps plus it has more than enough features for bashing.

I just picked up a Mad Force my self, an older version. I'm gonna put an axial .28 in it.
There's just something cool about a straight axle nitro.

I had a Mad Force when they first came out. Awesome truck. I ran a XTM 24.7 in it. That was a fun truck. I miss it really.

I also had the Mad Force when it first came out as a kit with Clod sized tires, I added a New Era header and a tuned pipe - one of the most FUN to drive RCs I have ever owned

The Mad Force VE is out. The brushless edition. It's out to me as I'm a hobby shop owner and the rest of america the 21st of October. A really neat truck indeed.

Gotta agree! And I've had many!!

Kruiser is a great vehicle in every aspect.

Still running stock, except for the steering servo and 6V hump pack, futaba 3PK 2.4Ghz radio.

Ok, we've got now the Kruiser VE , too

It's a real badass. I guess the 6 month winter isn't so bad after all. It was crazy fun yesterday to run uphill in the snow!

Next, we'll take them both out to play in the snow! And some photos, too
