Nice videos! I just purchased a Kruiser within the past week.
I love the way the truck looks and the simplicity of it, ease of work, lightweight, etc.
Anyone know of any weak parts yet? It looks like the steering could be suspect, but do not know how well it will hold up yet. Any thoughts?

It's a great truck, congrats
So far I've broken only the rear wheel hub. I carved too heavy and made some flips.. And trust me I have kicked some major ass with it

Where is everyone going for hop-ups?

I had a spare ACRE bonded brake pads (2) and a SP disc so installed it for better brakes (and fun) using the stock gas/brake servo.
I put 2 extra small gears into diffs with 20K oil. Had as spare, too.
For improved steering I'm using Orion 20kg servo with a 6V nimh hump pack.
This is all. It handles great.

Sounds great. I have add the HPI 4 gear diffs, aluminum steering crank set, different steering servo, homemade wheely bar, etc. Now I need the weather to warm up so I can drive it!!

Hi Jason, any running yet?
Here's a short clip how I do the starting. It fires up similarly every time.

I have run about four tanks through it so far. I am just about ready to start leaning out a bit but it has been in the teens this week for temperatures. Thanks for the video!

Nice videos again. I had my first breakage. On my 12th tank or so I had it pretty well leaned out and stripped the rear ring gear. Diffs have held up fine, but the ring gear is missing over have of its teeth!

Oh, haven't broken any. Maybe bad luck. Do you have the shim on the left side?

I assume I put it back on the left side when I installed the new diffs. I will make sure when I put it back together. Thanks.

Debating on this...the VE version...or another MT. Im just wondering about durability. I love the scale look of it Im just not sure just by the looks of it that it can take a good beating. I know no one that has or has had this truck. Feedback would be appreciated thanks

Sold my VE, just don't like batteries .. did a little bit upgrade to my Kruiser.. shocks and motor from my RB buggy (since I don't have a track close) .. very nice, noce lifting on tarmac and fast..
