Default 1900Kv or 2250Kv?

Hey everyone, I'm shopping for a brushless setup for an e-revo brushless edition roller I got. After looking around, I've decided I want the Tekin RX8 esc/Redline T8 motor combo. I don't really know which motor to choose though, so I'm asking for some advice.

If I understand correctly, the 1900Kv will be more torquey, more efficient, and run cooler then the 2250Kv motor. Is that right or do I have it backwards? It's 3am

What would be the advantages/disadvantages for either of them? I plan to mostly bash, maybe race it in the winter, but not sure yet.

Thanks in advance.

What voltage (cell count) lipos are you planning to run?

I'll be getting a pair of 2s 7.4v for everyday use, and a pair of 3s 11.1v for speed/ max fun.

I would go with the lower kv motor, the lower the kv the lower that amp draw-generaly speaking. The lower the amp draw the lower the speed control heat. Then you just gear based on motor temps and desired speed.

I'd also get the lower kv motor, especially with any possibility of running 6S.

Depending on the batteries you get (25C/30C/35C,etc), the 2 2S will be plenty fast. If you do go with 2 3S (for speed) just keep in mind that it will cause havok with your drive train. More speed = more broken parts. Just my two cents. Good Luck!!
