Default Setting up my E-revo

Hey all, I picked up this erevo brushless on ebay with twin 3s lipos for $700. It was in great shape but it was setup for racing. I am making it into a monster. Here are pics.

Came like this

Now it looks like this

My first question is, what is the stock shock oil weight? I put the blue springs on and the rebound is way to quick and the springs are not hard enough.

I am waiting for revo 3.3 wheels and then I am going to put these on

don't give me crap about the metal parts, i know they are weak. but they look awesome.

You should try and pick up some Flextek arms. For the shocks try 70wt, VDP kit and orange Summit springs which are supposed to be a bit longer.

lots like the flex arms but i think they are overpriced... Your revo is looking great! i would personally just stick with stock arms and replace when they break.

I put 70 shock oil in and got purple springs. they rebound is still pretty quick but the suspension is not sagging so bad anymore.

Before and after both look awesome! I've never seen a revo setup to race like that... wow. As for the new body, great choice!

If your interested in selling your race parts (wheels, tires, etc.) let me know. I plan on running my E-Revo at the track.

I see a "I bent it all to hell" thread coming soon. Integy...ick. Alloy can be good, but that, that Integy stuff, well... it looks good I guess. Are you gonna bash this or is she a shelf queen?

there is a reason why the vehicle manufacture doesn't make a full line of aluminum parts...

be aware of integy, the quality is not the same as before, we start carrying less integy at local hobby shop due to this reason
