Questions?? GEARING PROBLEMS

HI GUYS, WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH AN HPI SAVAGE? MY SECOND GEAR WON'T KICK IN. I'VE TRIED EVERYTHING, EVEN DISASSEMPLED THE GEAR BOX TOO SEE IF ANYTHING IS WRONG. I NEED SOME HELP ASAP!

You're sure its stuck in 1st and not 2nd?? Is it that slow that you're sure its in 1st? The shift adjustment can be set so it shifts literally as soon as you pull the throttle. My guess is its your adjustment, its just not where it needs to be. You need to determine if its in 1st or 2nd since adjusting for either will go diff ways.


Ditch the caps please, not needed.

Sorry about the caps, the truck though doesn't hit second and it screams for second but no second. What should I do?

loosen the shift point screw till it starts shifting and than fine tune it to shift at the top of your motor's power band.
