Default SMC 2S 6000'S IN FLUX - PROBLEM!

All - I purchased 2 of these guys for my Flux about 2 or 3 months ago. I only have about 10 runs on them. I used the batteries last Sunday, and charged them up 70% right after. A few days later I noticed the packs had expanded about 5 mm or so. Is this safe? I have heard of SMC having some "cell issues". I contacted Danny of SMC via this forum but have not heard back. What should I do? This sucks!

Thanks

So you are saying BOTH packs have puffed a little ? Monitor them and make sure they dont burst and wait too see what SMC says ..... They shouldnt have puffed up like that if they were not over charged/dis charged ..

vstrok,

I'm sorry Danny hasn't replied to your post. He is very busy and unfortunately can't be on here as often, nor can I. Please call me tomorrow @ 540-298-7706. We will try to get your problem resolved asap. Thanks for your patience!

Bryan

I had some issues with my original set as well, but probably my fault now that I look back at it. Got some brand new updated cells for half cost. Contact SMC and they will help you out, they are awesome down there!

Glad to see Bryan chimed in, its hard to get a hold of danny on the board. I had the same pack, with the same problem.

SMC took care if it, so dont worry, they are a good company.

Your 1st step is to call them and see what they want you to do....see reply #4 posted above.
