Theres an E-maxx rtr (needs front axles) and a Clodbuster w/o electronics , 2 batteries and charger all for 150.00. I will probably gonna sell the Clod just curious if it's worth it. I want an Emaxx and this one is scratched up pretty good on the bottom braces. So I'm kinda torn.

If its scratched up enough to make you question the purchase, missing front axles, and is not exactly complete, you may want to pass it up.
I found in the long run, it has been cheaper to buy new than to try and fix up someone else's disassembled problems.
The up front cost for the new emax may be higher, but at least its new. Buy the used one it may cost you just as much, by the time you have all the kinks worked out of it, and you still have a used truck.

Buying new, you spend more money up front, but you get something that is, well, new. You'll know everything the truck has been through, all of it's quirks, and will most likely take better care of it.
Buying used, unless your very experienced in this hobby, can be a big gamble. There are things you cant see until you tear the truck down ( diffs, shock internals, electronics ( if any) stripped/broken screws, etc...).
However, you can score big time, especially if the Clod is in good shape.
I'd say, if the EMaxx isn't covered in dirt, has rusty screws, decent body ( evidence of bashing can be seen on the lid from crashing) , decent undercarriage ( not too many deep scratches) , and the arms/wheels dont feel too wobbly, it may be a good deal.
It was pretty banged up and the esc wires had been spliced a couple of times and held together with wire nuts. So I declined. I did learn a lesson. ALWAYS request more pictures lol.
