BL eRevo quick gearing question.

I currently have a 2000 bl motor in my eRevo, geared 18 / 68.

I need to go up on the pinion and wanted to go 20 / 68.

The question is will a 20t fit or will I have to change the spur as well. If I have to change the spur can you suggest what pinion would go with the changed spur.

I just dont know the formula for keeping the ratio the same with the changed gears.

have you tried running it with the supplied 18/54

Its a brushless conversion, and the only gear that came with the eRevo, when I bought it new, was the supplied and already installed 68.

I see, well if i remember correctly, mine came out of the box with 18/65 and a optional 54t spur. running 18/54 was a great improvement. Or since you already have a 20t pinion, try 20/56

i hated 68 its barly fits im running 19/58 getting 50mph on 2s lipo x 2
