what ever you do don't put dual velineons in it. I did burned one up in about 10 runs. Went 60mph on stock gears but not worth the burned up esc.

i always wondered if two vxls would keep up with a mamba monster because i have heard that two vxls was worth it because of burnt up esc's what are you using now?

Two vxls=$300+weigh a ton. Not to mention that it would give half as much power as a MMM, and is more expensive.
MMM=$250 or less

I know what i would choose.............

one thing with the new 16.8 maxx's dont run two 7 cell batterys on stock motors!! youll burn them up i went though 4 sets before i found that out there the older 14.4 motors with a higher power esc so for the time being waiting for money and what not i modded a power drill 14.4 volt motor to fit did really good no top end but a hell of a tourk monster!!! now im bone stock again and running two 2s batterys lots of power and good speed
