I have a couple of ICE chargers so I'm good there.

I watched a youtube video comparing the Summit to the E-Maxx. Summit is pretty cool though a little slower. But it made me wonder how a Crawler compares to a Monster truck?

Well I went with a new E-Maxx. Got a good deal too I think. Had a code to get $60 off at Tower and free freight. Love the truck. Everything that I wanted so thanks for the recommendations. Any suggestions for mods?

RPM a arms up front when your break them, RPM true track in the rear when you break the rear arms. Rpm skid plates and shock towers are nice too. Save up for a brushless setup and a decent pair of 2s lipos and if you can manage to track down the proline powerstroke shocks you will be in heaven. After that, hmm, FLM extended chassis, FLM hybrid diff bulks. But really just upgrade as you break things. Thats the best way to do it.

Before you go crazy on mods, see what, and if anything breaks first.

As for mods, I would suggest buying some thicker diff oil and shock oil and mabie a spring set as well.

Traxxas likes to send there suspension out on the soft side. These are a couple of "adjustments" rather than mods, that you may find very helpful.

The E-maxx is a good choice. I have 2 of them for my son and I and we beat the crap out of them. For the most part normal stuff has broken, but that is to be expected the way we drive.
