Slayer to revo

Slayer to revo
I am thinking about converting my slayer to a revo. So far my part list consists of; arms, toe links, push rods, driveshafts, and wheels/tires. Anything else i will need? I am going to keep the slayer tranny because i am running a big block and need more top end. Also i was looking at the maximizer beadlock wheels, and was wondering what size would look appropriate on the shorter 2.5 style chassis? The 3.2 or the 3.8?
Thanks

Revo sell for next to nothing. Why not jsut buy one and keep your slyer as is. I think is a good idea to have 2 any way, just incase one breaks your not doen for the day.

I made the opposite mistake and thought an E-Slayer would be awesome so converted my E-Revo to an E-Slayer. HORRIBLE idea.
Things I used were all new arms, shafts, pushrods, different springs, rockers, and wheels/tires. Sounds like you got it covered.
As for what wheels to use, I would say use whatever you like best or can find cheapest. The difference between the 2.5 and 3.3 chassis is fairly small and the shorter length with bigger wheels may give you more of a "Jeep" effect and climb better.
Good luck with the conversion. It's not hard. Lets see some pics!!!

Wow, this thread is so old I don't even remember posting in it!
All you need for a conversion is:
8 Arms
8 Rods
4 Driveshafts
New front and rear bumpers
different wheels.
If you buy stuff on Ebay you should be able to do it fairly cheap in either direction. Revo -> Slayer or Slayer -> Revo.
