Default How much could i get out of this revo?

I was wondering how much i can get out of this revo 5309. it has a new freshly painted body. it has all aluminum a arms and shocks. the engine runs really good. better than my race revo which i was jealous of LOL. rechargable reciever battery pack, it now has the 17mm hex hubs and the stock tires and wheel 17mm hex, and the stock radio and reciever, and TTTOOONNNNSSSS of extra stock parts and the plastic a-arms. heres some pics of it. how much so you think i could get out of this?

unfortunately, not much. there's a LOT of revo's out there, even the platinums sell for dirt cheap

why not keep it as a basher?

The best thing you can do is part out the aftermarket stuff, put it back to stock, and sell it

I think you'll get your 250, maybe a bit less (hop ups don't really increase value from what I've noticed, unless its like a motor, or high end servos)

I bought a very high end 500 dollar engine on here for 80 bucks shipped

You can price things at whatever you want, however, true value will be determined by the buyer.

I worked in real estate for a couple years and would always here , " my house is worth xxx,xxx dollars." Fine, but when it sits on the MLS for 2 years with no offers and price reductions every 3 months, don't you wish you had listened to me in the first place.

Only downside to parting is you usually wind up with some stuff left over that no one seems to want.

I'd try to sell it as a package deal - get it super clean, take some great pics and make a big point in your ad of all the extras and hopups.

I stopped racing the MT class and now my Revo just sits too. Ive gone back and forth about selling it but i know its only going to get in the high 2 or low 3. So for now its just part of my collection.

It doesn't really even have hop ups... Aluminum arms are not something that are considered in a price marking for an R/C car, especially now-a-days with how cheap they are.

I'd say you could get about 200$ for it, max.

Have you seen what aluminum arms go for on ebay? He could get $25+ for the arms alone.

That's why I say sell all of the aftermarket crap on ebay, put the truck back to stock, and sell it as a stock truck. You could end up at $350 or more if you do it right.

I don't mean part out the stock crap, put the truck back to stock, and sell as a package with the extra stock parts, then sell the aftermarket parts seperatley

oh man don't give this guy false hope, he won't get NEAR that. Also if he does ebay hes going to lose A LOT of money to fees.
