Default My LunchBox front wheels rattles at top speed

Hi,

My rather new LB front wheels rattles ("vibrates") at top speed.

Is it normal?

Did some hop-up. Sports-Tuned Motor, Full bearings. But still having the stock shocks.

if I upgrade to oil-dampers shocks from Tamiya, would it help?

Need your valueable advise. Thanks!

Try spinning your front wheels by hand. If it rattles, it may be caused by an imbalanced wheel.

U mean hold it off the ground and spin the wheels?

I did that and the wheels spin very smoothly.

Okie maybe I check if the wheels have mis-aligned.

bearing, axle, linkage, knuckles, wheel, or tire imbalance.

Definitely replace the shocks. This is the single most important upgrade for the lb's other than bearings. The wheels will continue to shake until you replace the shocks. They might still do it a little afterwards by they will be dramatically better. If you can find them get the old sees brand aluminum wheels. I have a couple sets of them and the made a big difference also. They are easier to keep balanced than the stock wheels and they hold standard 2.2 tires on them.
