Default Exhust nipple question

Hi, Just a question about the exhust nipple on the tuned pipes.

I see that all have the nipple on the top side of the pipe.
I have a Truck that I want to run it on the right hand side.
By doing this the exhust nipple is going to be underneath the pipe.
Is this going to effect the performance of the tunned pipe or is it ok to have the exhust nipple underneath the pipe?

Any information is appreciated.
Thanks.

are you talking about the nipple that the fuel line connects to on the pipe?

That would not seem to be a good idea - there's unburned oil in the exhaust and with the nipple on the bottom, you are going to be pushing that residue into your fuel tank or plugging the pressure line - neither of which you want.

I'd figure out something else.

can you mount it in a different way? on an angle so the nipple isn't straight down.

Thanks for the replies.
Yes, it is the nipple that the fuel line connects to on the pipe.

It is actually for a twin engine setup.
I don't think I can mount it in any other way, will have to check into it a bit more.
The only other thing that i was thinking about was blocking one of the nipples and drilling another hole on the other side then install another nipple.

Not too sure if this will work also as the pipe in question is a JP-4

Thanks.
