SMC 6000 mah for FLUX

Thats what I've heard and thats what I have experienced with the lipos I have. Treat them easy 1st 10 runs or so and they show some improvement in capacity and voltage characteristics. Plane guys call it breakin. We just connect them and run them hard right out of the box.
Have you timed a run so you have facts to deal with and not just an impression. If you're drifting in the sand at near WOT all the time, run time will drop.
Where do you have the lvc set?

It's at factory setting right now. I have no clue what that is though. I charged them back up and only got 3200 back in.

The link is only way you're to know what is really happening with the esc. Something is not right if your lvc is hitting at 7.8v (15.6v - remember the truck wires these 2 lipos in series). Its prob not that high since there is some voltage recovery after you pull teh plug, but its still activating the lvc way higher than it should be.
As a good thing, at least this is taking it easy on your new lipos.....Nice breakin, should make for a lot of cycles.

My SMC's also start charging at around that voltage amount or less. With more use, the total charge capacity will drop then when you first bought them. I typically get no higher then 5500mAh back in mine when I originally put in almost 6000mAh the first time I ran and charged them. The more you balance your Lipos, prevent over charging/dischargeing the Lipo's, the longer they will maintain a higher mAh charge and last longer. This last run I put back in 4910/4890mAh at a 3.2v LVC.
