The current setup uses Nanda Super Big Bore shocks. They are called a different name in the US though - could be TQ or something.

The springs are Hong Nor Super Big Bore blue - hardest spring rate available. I've tried many shocks - Thunder Tiger S3 rear shocks, CEN shocks but these super big bores work well. However, the truck is so heavy that a single M3 screw is not enough to hold the shock in place. Alway ended up bent after a couple of jumps (biggest jump at my track is a 10ft air time monster of a jump). Had to double up on the screw with additional reinforcement to hold them in place. Can't see it in the photos though. Will try to post some updated ones showing this setup.

BTW, the Hong Nor SSB shocks work just as well. I have them in the nitro savage.
