Default tamiya cr01 crawler

hey every one i just recently got tamiya cr01 rock crawler, im looking to upgrade the two steering servo's i want something kinda fast yet with some torque, and im also looking for a good ESC and Motor for it that has some good torque and what not...

Servos-get a hitec servo. They will last you years! Go the their website and look at the huge selection.

Motor/esc-Novak as great crawler motors and esc BL combos.

I use cheap MG995 servos on my CR01 and they work ok. For esc and motor i use Sidewinder Esc and Novak 55T motor. Works perfectly.

Power it with 7.2v nimh most of the time but also sometimes i use 3s Lipo.

it is painted gold and white with black accents for hinges, not really upgrades i would call it but this thing is heavy as hell right now i have four wheel steering a emaxx esc so it takes two batteries one for the motor and the other for servos and lights, have not really been able to fine many mods for it. and dont know much about crawlers it has a 55t integy lathe motor

it was literally an impulse buy, i bought the kit from tamiya for 600 which i killed myself for not looking around but money was burning a hole in my pocket and i liked but but have juse grown tired of it as there is no where for me to make it crawl over really where im at

yeah thats hard thing about crawling if u dont live in cali then there is nothing i live in the east coast and there are a few competitions
