Default need help with revo 3.3!!!

hey every one im having a few problems with my revo 3.3, first off im curious what kind of glow plug would be good for florida weather with temps between 70F and 95F degrees? also my revo is shifting way to late and cant figure out what kind of wrenching device i need to make it shift sooner? and what is a good temp to run the trx 3.3 engine at and what temp should i not go over?

thanks in advance.

The glow plug you need is a medium. I use model technics medium, but they are a UK brand.

you need a 2.5mm hex driver (allen key) to change the shift point. take a look at the manual, it tells you how to do it.

I can't tell you what temp to run at, as it varies, but don't go over 290F.

If you tune the motor based on temp i would not go over 275 (says in the 3.3 manual).

Manuals, exploded pics, parts numbers etc available online for free download.

Look under the "Revo 3.3 (#5309) for manual - clicking manual will bring it up - its a pdf and you can save it so you'll have it. I have a folder on my PC for each of my RCs that has the manual, parts lists and all the exploded views for reference. You'll be surprised how useful they can be.

Looks like a good deal - like the custom fuel shut off...

In mine the glow plug I use an O.S LC 3 or an LC 8 they are a little bit longer and fit down inside the combustion chamber a little further in my opion it bumps up the compression a bit more. The LC 8 is a med hot plug that might be best where your at.
