2009 No Limit R/C Monster Truck world finals-biggest MT event in the world
No Limit R/C races monster trucks like their full size counterparts. Freestyle, racing, pulling and MUCH more.
The 2008 No Limit R/C world finals had 321 entries from 19 states and 4 countries. RC Driver magazine called it "The Greatest RC monster truck spectacle in history" RC Car action and RC Driver have already agreed to cover this massive event.
here's the event flyer that will run in some mags:
We've got a NEW WEBSITE that is rapidly expanding.
Entry fee is $35 per truck and registration is now open.
I went to this event in 2007 and I am from Michigan and I tell ya what this is not like any r/c event you will ever go to in your life.. Me and my wife and kids went and took us 16 hours to get to just our hotel and another 1 1/2 hours one way to get to dennis's place where the track is located and we did it with no regrets all weekend long. Just Sunday alone I drove 6 hours to and from the track. 44 hours of driving total from home and back. We had a blast and Dennis is one of the coolest guys you will ever meet.. his Wife and kids and team were all so cool, not to mention the No Limit Crew that helped the event along and HPI and other companies. And besides all that and ALL the FREE stuff they handed out over that weekend.. THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN FREE STUFF! It was awesome.. Here is a video of my revo jumping Grave Digger alone with some of the others who attended the event.. 2:29 into the video is my revo with white RPM aarms..
Thanks man!!! i remember that Revo, Mike right? Just think that was our smallest event at the Dungeon with 189 entries, our 2008 world finals had 321 entries and with 88 entries in the 1st week, we're shooting for an easy 400 in '09!!
It's Joe LOL but alot of people so it's easy to get confused and you guys do it every year so at least you took a good guess at it HA HA.. With the amount at that event it was had to get everything done in that weekend. I don't know how you guys will pull it off with that much more.. That was a blast but I don't think the wife is up for another drive like that right now, plus her work and all. But we will be back forsure.
If you have a monster truck, this is the palce to be, the event to attend, the race of all R/C monster truck races. After being invited to attend the Halloween Bash back in 2007, we @ SMC fully back No Limit R/C. The World Finals were through the roof last year and Justin with his gang of race event guru's have promised to put last year's event to shame. Bigger, badder, more insane. I don't know if it will be possible but Justin lives up to his promises. With all the indusrty support and prizes, I can't imagine being anywhere else May 22-24. If you have a question for hpi, they'll be there. Buku, they'll be there. Company reps. all over the site to help you out and see that you get your truck running to optimal standards. Debbie's R/C has a huge pile of parts and kits to keep you going or to add to your collection. Check out nolimitrc.com and hpisavageforum.com for all the info you can handle!!!
Thanks Bryan!! Truth be told- we have had more entries in the first week of 2009, than we had in the entire 2006 event. We've posted the current list of entries here: http://www.nolimitrc.com/news/12/#reglist
The fact that we got 100+ entries in 8 days shows that this is for real.
MUCH more in the works! get in now before we end registration.
Two questions before I dedicate to this race.
1. Will there be parts on hand for the Clodbusters?(Mainly axle tubes)
2. What class would my truck fall in? It's a Clod (Obviously with my first question LOL) with a Clodzilla IV chassis, extended axles, two brushed 19T motors, locked rear steer, and a 5000 20c two cell lipo.
I ask this because I have never raced a monster truck race before, I mainly run Touring cars on carpet.

Yes, there will be Clod parts on hand. The Pro modified is the class you want to enter in. This will be the biggest clod based class of the year. Come on down- I'm a long islander myself I expect 50 clod buster entries
damn! i cant make it this year but damned if i miss it next year!
Very wise choice little boy. And I think you are actually supposed to own an RC vehicle to compete in this event, not just talk big about them.
I never saw your "tough truck" that was so much better than mine. I don't think you actually own any RC. You just spend countless hours wasting bandwidth and drive space for this forum.
